Why this role is important to us 

SimCorp empowers leading asset managers, pension funds, and financial institutions to streamline investment decisions using integrated technology and analytics. Axioma plays a critical role in delivering front-office risk and portfolio construction capabilities to our clients. 
 
In the role of Sales Lead, Canada – Axioma, you will be responsible for driving growth of Axioma solutions across the Canadian market. You will work directly with institutional clients and internal teams to position Axioma as a strategic partner in investment decision-making. 

What you will be responsible for 

  • Drive the full sales cycle from origination through close across new and existing clients 

  • Build relationships with key stakeholders including CIOs, portfolio managers, risk teams, and quants 

  • Position Axioma solutions in collaboration with product specialists and support client demos and evaluations 

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across the Canadian institutional market 

  • Support complex deal processes and help navigate multi-stakeholder buying cycles 

  • Manage pipeline, maintainaccurate forecasting, and track against revenue targets 

  • Provide market intelligence and client feedback to inform product and commercial strategy 

  • Collaborate with SimCorp account teams to drive cross-sell and aligned client engagement 

  • Represent SimCorp and Axioma in the market through client meetings and industry events 

What we value 

  • Experience selling investment analytics, risk, data, or front-office solutions 

  • Strong understanding of institutional asset management workflows, including portfolio construction, risk analytics, and factor models 

  • Experience selling into institutional asset managers, pension funds, or insurance firms 

  • Ability to engage credibly with portfolio managers, risk teams, quants, CIOs, and senior investment stakeholders 

  • Proven experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles 

  • Comfortable working with product specialists to support technical discussions, demos, and evaluations 

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear business value 

  • Commercial mindset with the ability to identify and develop growth opportunities 

  • Familiarity with the Canadian institutional market is preferred 

  • Self-driven, collaborative, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment 

  • CFA or similar finance background is a strong asset 

  • Flexibility to work on-site in the office 2X per week 

  • Flexibility to travel as needed
