The sales team deals with our most important retailers, taking care of business plans and developments. Their data is crucial to the rest of the company, and they implement strategies that are vital for KraftHeinz. They identify key strategies, build business plans, hold standings for their business unit and have regular sessions across different functions in the company.

The Positions:

As an intern you will take ownership of projects, work closely with the business on day-to-day challenges and will have to constantly connect with senior leaders.
Depending on your profile, your experience and interests, you will be supporting one of the following teams within Sales:
- Foodservice
- Retail Sales
Responsibilities and Tasks throughout the various roles can include:
Foodservice Sales
- Supporting the account managers with different tasks: day-to-day administrative tasks, direct customer contact and big projects guided by an account manager.
- Conducting various data analyses using sales data from important retail partners to determine potential opportunities for the National Accounts team.
- Supporting key account managers in collecting and analyzing information regarding our propositions in the foodservice market.
- Building business cases and strategic plans for existing customers.
- Assess previous sales strategies and provide input for improvement in the future.
Retail Sales
- Actively support the key account managers to run our business in Belgian retail: day-to-day administrative tasks and direct customer contact. You will also participate in big projects guided alongside an account manager.
- Track and analyze market evolutions on all categories in which Kraft Heinz operates
- Participate in updating and analysis of monthly retail dashboards
- contribute to internal presentations on projects to develop and grow our business
- Actively come up with the execution of marketing plans into shop floor activation in collaboration with Sales-, Marketing- and Category teams
- Support Field activations together with field lead to optimize activities in shops
- Conduct various data analyses using sales data from different companies in order to identify potential opportunities for the National Accounts team.
- Building business cases and strategic plans for existing customers.
- Evaluating previous sales strategies and provide input for improvement in the future.
Qualifications:
Job requirements
- You are enrolled at a European university during at least 50% of the duration of the internship.
- You are nearing the end of your bachelor's degree or pursuing your master's degree.
- You have very good knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken. Dutch and/or French language are a plus.
- Good knowledge of MS office, especially Excel.
- NOTE: EU working rights are required (Either you are an EU citizen, or you are studying in the Netherlands or Belgium).

- Strong affinity: You have a strong affinity with marketing and/or data analytics looking to be trained in real business life conditions.
- Communication Skills: At Kraft Heinz you'll easily be exposed to senior management, no matter your level. Therefore, it's important you have excellent communication skills, to take care of all kinds of different stakeholders.
- Confident: You're a go getter, you're not easily thrown off your game, not even when you get resistance.
- Ability to Simplify: We like to keep it simple. This will be highly appreciated, when you provide simple solutions when taking care of complex challenges.

What we offer you:

Allowance: 625 euro per month (40hrs, 5 days) & full reimbursement of travel expenses
Location: Antwerp, Belgium
Hybrid Policy: Kraft Heinz has recently transitioned to a hybrid way of working, which means that we work 60% of the week in the office and have the right to work 40% from home.
