Job DescriptionTo advise and sell insurance products to bank customers, providing excellent service while identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell. The role is responsible for resolving customer queries, managing policy-related requests, and supporting the achievement of bancassurance sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote, sell, and provide guidance on insurance products to bank customers through various channels.
- Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell insurance solutions that meet customer needs.
- Respond to customer insurance queries and complaints promptly, escalating only complex issues when necessary.
- Deliver a high standard of customer service and ensure a positive customer experience.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, branch staff, insurers, brokers, and other key stakeholders.
- Follow all policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and risk controls to protect the bank and its customers.
- Act as a brand ambassador by demonstrating professionalism and adhering to the bank's Code of Conduct.
- Use customer feedback and data insights to improve service quality and sales performance.
- Suggest process and system improvements that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
- Accurately capture, update, and maintain customer and policy information in the relevant systems in line with data governance requirements.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and contribute to a high-performance culture.
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Insurance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Atleast 5 years' experience in the insurance industry, with exposure to sales, customer service, or insurance operations.
- Experience in a banking branch environment, customer service, or bancassurance sales will be an added advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to build customer relationships, identify sales opportunities, and deliver excellent customer service.
