Global Sales Incentives Manager

Global Sales Incentives team plays a crucial role in AVEVA’s growth by developing and executing Sales Incentives solutions aligned with the overall direction and success of the Sales organisation. In this fast-paced environment, we are dedicated to driving performance through strategic initiatives and a seamless execution of incentive programs.

As a Global Sales Incentives Manager, you will be responsible for designing, cost modelling, implementing, and managing our global Sales Incentive programs that achieve business objectives. With your expertise and deep understanding of incentive structure, you will act as a strategic partner with the business leadership to provide specialist guidance and recommendations. Key Responsibilities:

Design and Strategy

Develop and implement global sales incentive plans that align with company objectives and drive desired sales behaviours.

Orchestrate Incentive compensation strategy that supports transformation of the business moving towards Annual Recurring Revenue model.

Collaborate with Sales leadership to understand business priorities and Sales Performance metrics.

Analyse sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement in incentive programs.

Analysis and Reporting:

Conduct regular analysis of sales compensation data to ensure competitiveness and effectiveness of plans. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management.

Responsible for tracking sales commission costs utilising forecast information.

Drive regular Sales Compensation corporate reporting & analytics on performance metrics, ROI, and comp operational metrics.

Plan Management:

Successfully implement new sales incentives schemes within the SPM tool and ensure rigorous system testing prior to going live.

Manage the administration of sales compensation plans, including calculations, payments, and compliance with all relevant regulations.

Communicate incentive plans clearly and effectively to the sales team, including eligibility criteria, payout structures, and timelines.

Collaboration:

Work closely with Sales leadership, Finance, HR, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication of compensation strategies.

Continuous Improvement:

Stay updated on industry trends and best practices. Continuously evaluate and improve compensation programs to ensure they remain competitive and effective.

Serve as a business owner for the SPM tool and leverage system capabilities to strengthen the current state of automation.

Essential Competencies, Knowledge, Skills:

8+ experience in Sales Compensation preferably in Technology/SaaS Sales space

Knowledge of various incentive program structures and models

Proficiency in cost modelling with demonstrated experience in providing data-driven business insights

Extensive experience with Sales Performance Management systems particularly Xactly

Advanced level of proficiency in Excel (vlookups, pivots, macros etc.) including experience building analysis and models

Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex information to various stakeholders

A thoughtful, attention to detail oriented, systematic approach to systems and processes

Open to be “daring” to provide out of the box ideas and solutions
