Alkami is hiring a Sales Executive to develop relationships with banks and credit unions that are looking to enhance and expand their Treasury/Cash Management solutions. We are seeking an experienced business development professional that is highly motivated, has a history of success with business sales, and exhibits strong prospecting, communications, problem solving, and closing skills. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of sales experience focused in Digital Banking, Treasury/ Cash Management, or Business Banking role.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and calling on C-level executives.

  • Develop and execute strategies for quickly developing sales territory.

  • Work with assigned Reseller Relationships to expand and develop sales by educating on solutions to ensure basic familiarity with solutions to develop solid referrals.

  • Prepare and present solutions to prospective FI’s including providing demonstrations of solutions.

  • Create, maintain, and provide accurate and timely sales forecasts and funnel information.

  • Articulate the value proposition of the product and service to convert prospects.

  • Negotiate/close deals and handle objections.

  • Participate on behalf of the company for trade shows and conferences.

  • Travel to meet with prospective customers and market within your territory.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders in finding ways to continually improve and achieve results.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.

  • Demonstrable success of selling, prospecting, and building new business pipelines are essential with Treasury Management products. 

  •  Experience selling Treasury/Cash Management Products Financial Institutions or FI Corporate clients required.

  • High ethical standards and determination to succeed.

  • Communication skills: Ability to communicate, present and influence credibly at all levels of the organization, including C-level. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communications.

  • Sales Experience: 5+ years experience carrying or directly supporting a quota.

  • Ability to travel 25-50% 

  • Experience closing deals.

  • Computer skills: Proficient at common Google Applications and personal computing

  • Professional Drive:  must have a strong sense of urgency and accountability to generate new sales.

  • Technical Knowledge: Ability to articulate examples of learning technical products or solutions.

  • Abstract Reasoning: Ability to analyze, assess and address prospects needs within the context of our products and services

Desired Skills:

  • Previous sales experience within the financial technology or banking industry 

  • Experience with business digital banking solutions

The salary range for this position is: $106,400 - $134,000Cool Things to Know
