FLS Transportation is currently looking for an experienced, energetic, and motivated Transportation Brokerage Sales Professionals to join our established and growing organization as a Sales Executive. The objective is to build and maintain a high-performance sales organization to achieve business objectives effectively.
The ideal candidates will have a solid experience in a 3PL environment. The sales executive will have a network to call upon and demonstrate success in selling in a third-party (3PL) brokerage environment.
Responsibilities will include:
- Generate sales leads by inside sales networking, cold-calling prospects, and building relationships as part of a coordinated sales strategy;
- Maintain relationships with existing clientele and build business internally;
- Ensure new customers and business are fostered;
- Create sales strategies by gathering market information, analyzing opportunities, and documenting sales methodology;
- Responding to client prospect inquiries by preparing responses to requests for proposals (RFP-s) and requests for quotations (RFQ-s);
- Prepare presentations and delivering to prospective clients.
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience in freight brokerage sales, with a desire to grow professionally.
- 3-5 years years sales experience (3PL industry required).
- Ability to bring on, close, and deliver new business.
- Out-going, “Hunter” personality.
- Hard Working. Entrepreneurial. Accountable and Proactive.
- Organized, detail-oriented – excellent follow-up skills are essential.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills (both verbal and written).
