Job purpose
This role is responsible for developing and managing customer accounts, coordinating sales activities with the distributor, and supporting field operations to drive business growth.
Duties and responsibilities
o Coordinate visits with the distributor's sales team to conduct product presentations and tastings.
o Conduct solo visits to prospect new clients.
o Expand existing accounts by introducing new SKUs.
o Spend approximately 90% of the time in the field; 10% will be dedicated to weekly/monthly planning and preparing quotations.
o Provide materials, information, samples, and support the distributor's sales team to help capture new business opportunities.
o Delivery summarized analyses of inventory levels and potential risks.
Qualifications
o Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
o Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, account management, or business development-preferably in FMCG or distribution.
o Proven success in meeting or exceeding sales targets and generating new business.
o Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
o Ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and develop strategic responses.
o Willingness to spend up to 90% of time in the field.
o Proficient in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
o Strong organizational skills to plan, execute, and report on sales activities.
o Proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
