What you will do

  • Implements all sales action plans related to the respective market (by segment and geographical locations) as outlined in the Marketing plan.

  • Actively participates in achieving the departmental goals, which contribute to the Marketing budget.

  • Closely monitors accounts revenue and business production for Corporate / Embassy/ Government / FIT / Meetings/Events accounts.

  • Maximises up-selling opportunities whenever possible.

  • Assists the Director of Sales in the forecasting of rooms revenue and ATR for Corporate / FIT /Meetings/Events groups.

  • Reviews direct competition and conducts regular research

  • Maintains a high level of exposure for the hotel in major market areas through direct sales, telephone, fax and written communications.

  • Develops increased room nights as well as Banquet revenue.

  • Conducts site inspections.

  • Maintains close communication with the Events Management Team in the negotiation process of their accounts    

  • Attends the pre-event meeting and post-event meeting as required, chaired by Events Management Team

  • Follow up with Events Management Team after the post-event meeting with Thank You calls and send Thank You Letter together.

  • To handle all aspects of familiarisation / site inspection clients or groups including enquiry, co-ordination and execution thereof.

  • Responsible for post-fam /site inspection group follow-up such as sending “Thank You Letter” and developing a potential client’s database for future business opportunities.

  • Local candidate preferred; however foreign candidates who have Japanese language proficiency in both speaking and writing will be considered.  

  • Demonstrates ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company.
