Region South, UK
The Sales Executive, UK, Region South will be responsible for driving sustainable and profitable growth across a portfolio of direct customers within the UK Personal Care market. The role manages a defined portfolio of accounts across A, B, and C segments, with a primary focus on developing strategic relationships with key and mid-sized customers while ensuring consistent service and growth across the broader customer base.
This position combines strong commercial ownership with technical understanding, enabling the effective translation of ingredient innovation into customer value. The Sales Executive works closely with Technical Service, Marketing, and cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions aligned with customer needs, market trends, and regulatory requirements.

Job Description

Responsibilities

1 - Drive profitable growth across the UK account portfolio: manage and grow a portfolio of direct accounts within the UK territory. Prioritize efforts across account tiers to maximize revenue and margin impact. Deliver sustainable growth aligned with business objectives.

2 - Develop and execute strategic account plans: Develop and execute account plans for key (A) and mid-tier (B) customers. Identify growth levers including new applications, product penetration, and innovation projects. Build long-term partnerships to increase share of wallet and customer retention.

3 - Identify and convert new business opportunities: Proactively identify opportunities within existing accounts and new prospects. Build and manage a robust pipeline aligned with portfolio priorities. Convert opportunities into commercial wins through effective value selling.

4 - Build strong, multi-level customer relationships: Establish relationships with procurement, R&D, formulation, and innovation teams. Understand customer needs, strategies, and product pipelines. Position the company as a trusted partner in innovation and formulation.

5 - Deliver sales execution excellence and pipeline discipline: Maintain consistent engagement across all account segments, including smaller (C) accounts. Ensure accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM updates. Drive structured follow-up and execution of commercial opportunities.

6 - Translate technical capabilities into customer value through collaboration: Work closely with Technical Service and Application Labs to support customer projects. Translate product features into clear formulation and performance benefits. Align internal resources to deliver tailored customer solutions.

7 - Monitor market trends and promote innovative solutions: Stay informed on Personal Care trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments. Identify opportunities linked to innovation and sustainability. Contribute market insights to shape commercial and portfolio strategies.

Technical Knowledge and Skills

Position Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Cosmetic Science, or related field .

Experience: min 5 years of experience in B2B sales management in the Personal Care industry or specialty chemicals. Experience managing direct customer portfolios is essential.

IT Skills: Advanced computer software capabilities like MS Office.

Language Skills: Fluent in English.

Working arrangements: Home office based within the south of UK.

Traveling required: Travel within the south of UK.

Right to Work in the UK: Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK at the time of application and throughout their employment. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Skills Required
