Sales Enterprise Product Owner

The Enterprise Product Owner defines the product roadmap and strategy for enterprise products and services supporting Sales across all Auto Club Enterprise markets. This person owns the product backlog end-to-end — from translating business priorities into user stories to prioritizing delivery — and acts as the primary voice of Sales within a cross-functional, Agile product team.
Success requires deep Sales domain expertise, strong Agile fluency, and the ability to influence and align stakeholders across business, technology, and vendor teams without direct authority.
What You'll Do
Strategy & Roadmap

  • Own and evolve the enterprise product roadmap, identifying new opportunities based on market trends, competitive research, and voice-of-customer insights.

  • Align product strategy with the Club's broader MRM and distribution strategy, evaluating the financial and competitive impact of new features.

  • Represent Sales' needs by embedding with the business, understanding how users interact with current systems, and driving improvements accordingly.

Backlog Ownership

  • Prioritize the product backlog by balancing corporate objectives, user experience, and development/testing capacity.

  • Intake enhancement and bug requests, work with requestors to clarify intent, and translate them into clear technical requirements and acceptance criteria.

  • Convert high-level business priorities into user stories, supported by process flows, data flows, and sequence/activity diagrams as needed.

  • Monitor defects and feed them back into the backlog appropriately.

Agile Delivery

  • Serve as a dedicated, co-located member of the product team, driving product vision and direction throughout the Agile lifecycle.

  • Facilitate iteration planning, participate in stand-ups and retrospectives, and escalate risks and issues proactively.

  • Determine release scope, write release notes, and own the QA plan through launch.

Stakeholder & Vendor Engagement

  • Build and maintain relationships with external vendors, partners, and internal development teams.

  • Deliver executive and stakeholder presentations, and lead usability testing and user research as needed.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience as an Agile Product Owner, Product Manager, or in Product Development for enterprise products/programs.

  • 5+ years of business/process experience in Sales or directly supporting Sales functions.

  • Strong proficiency with Guidewire strongly preferred, with working knowledge of Salesforce and Genesys Cloud integrations preferred.

  • Experience leading or participating in User Acceptance Testing and Regression Testing.

  • Demonstrated ability to convert high-level priorities into a structured product backlog with clear acceptance criteria.

  • Skilled in creating business process flows, data flows, sequence diagrams, and activity diagrams.

  • Experience facilitating brainstorming and planning sessions.

  • Qualitative and quantitative consumer research experience a plus.

  • Jira experience a plus.
