Our client, a leading Greek distributor of industrial power transmission products and mechanical spare parts with nationwide presence and strong technical expertise, is looking to recruit a Sales Engineer.
We are looking for a motivated candidate with experience in a Sales Engineer or Technical Sales role, with a strong technical background and proven ability to develop a B2B client portfolio. The role combines commercial acumen with solid technical understanding of products and solutions, adopting a consultative approach toward customers and supporting the full sales cycle, from needs assessment to deal closure.
The role is located in Athens.
Requirements
Main Responsibilities:
- Builds and manages a strong client base through clear communication, ensuring technical efficiency and accuracy of mechanical products
- Identifies new business opportunities and penetrates new markets to achieve the Company’s sales goals
- Develop a sales pipeline while conducting targeted visits to potential customers for introducing products and services
- Maintains close communication with suppliers, both in Greece and abroad, for securing coordination and timely delivery of mechanical products
- Develop long-term relationships by understanding clients’ needs and providing tailored solutions
- Demonstrates a solution-oriented approach by offering technical expertise to resolve challenges and maintain high service standards
- Provides excellent after-sales support, including follow-ups, to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Master’s degree will be considered a plus
- 2-3 years of relevant working experience in similar positions within industrial environment
- Solid expertise in technical support for mechanical products
- Ability to travel; a valid driver’s license is required
- Excellent command of the English language (both written and verbal)
- Knowledge of German language will be considered an asset
- Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite
