It's with that in mind that Beyond is looking to add a Sales Engineer to our growing team. Reporting to the Director of Sales, you will have the opportunity to accelerate our fast growth by supporting sales and customer success in their pursuit to expand our payments footprint within the short-term rental industry.

 As the Payments Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Becoming a subject matter expert on our booking engine and payment products
  • Working collaboratively with Account Executives, Business Development Representatives, and Customer Experience to drive deals with prospective and existing customers
  • Helping to lead the discovery process, uncovering prospects’ business requirements to assess product and timing fit
  • Working with prospects to understand and validate technical requirements, operational dependencies, and build proposals
  • Configuring demonstrations to align with a prospect's use case
  • Promoting and eliciting feedback from Beyond prospects and customers to ensure expectations are achieved and exceeded

  • Curious: You find fulfillment in discovering the prospect’s specific needs and translating that into happy customers
  • Action-oriented: You thrive in fast-paced environments and are highly self-motivated to succeed. You’re comfortable wearing multiple hats and able to think on your feet.

  • 2+ years of professional services or sales engineering experience
  • Experience with e-commerce and/or payment processing
  • Ability to learn quickly and solve problems independently
  • Able to effectively speak to both technical and non-technical parties
  • Working knowledge of the short-term rental industry is a plus
