How you’ll make an impact
Sales and Business Development
Identify and pursue new service sales opportunities within assigned territories and customer segments.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients by understanding their operational challenges and strategic objectives.
Prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals, presentations, and demonstrations of Hitachi’s service portfolio.
Negotiate and close service agreements, ensuring alignment with company targets and customer expectations.
Technical Consultation and Solution Design
Collaborate with customers to understand their infrastructure, systems, and operational requirements.
Conduct technical assessments and provide expert consultation on suitable Hitachi service solutions, including maintenance, support, upgrades, and managed services.
Work with internal technical and product teams to customize service offerings to meet specific customer needs and ensure technical feasibility.
Market Analysis and Strategy
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and technological advancements in the service sector.
Provide feedback to internal teams on market demands and customer needs to support service development and improvement.
Contribute to the development and execution of sales strategies and initiatives to expand market share and achieve sales targets.
Reporting and Administration
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline progress using CRM systems.
Prepare regular sales forecasts, reports, and analyses for management review.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical guidelines.

Your background
A bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
A minimum of 4 to 8 years of experience in service sales, technical sales, or a field engineering position within the industrial manufacturing sector.
A solid understanding of industrial systems, IT infrastructure, or Hitachi product offerings.
The ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Familiarity with service level agreements (SLAs) and service delivery models.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Demonstrated ability to identify customer challenges and propose value-oriented solutions.
Strong interpersonal skills to foster rapport and trust.
Willingness to travel frequently within the designated territory.
A valid driver’s license.
Fluency in English; proficiency in the local language is a plus.
