About the Role

We are looking for a Sales Engineer to join our Israel team and lead technical conversations with customers across the country.

In this role, you will work closely with Pentera’s Enterprise Sales team to present the value of our platform, run product demos, and guide customers through evaluations and implementations.

This position is perfect for someone who enjoys combining deep technical knowledge with customer interaction and who can translate complex cybersecurity concepts into real-world business value.

You will engage with leading security teams from diverse industries and gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge security validation technology.

The role is based in Israel, requires fluent Hebrew and English, and includes frequent travel within Israel and abroad when needed.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead customer engagements by conducting introductory and technical meetings with prospects and demonstrating how Pentera’s solutions address real security challenges.
  • Support the sales process by working with the sales team to shape strategy, identify opportunities, and deliver successful Proofs of Value (PoVs).
  • Conduct product demonstrations and workshops for customers and partners, both onsite and remotely.
  • Develop a strong understanding of customer environments including infrastructure, networks, and security frameworks, and tailor Pentera’s solution accordingly.
  • Collaborate with value-added partners to expand coverage and ensure smooth solution delivery.
  • Manage product evaluations, installations, and technical handovers to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Represent Pentera as a technical expert at conferences, trade shows, and industry events locally and abroad.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 7 years or more of experience in Sales Engineering, Pre-Sales, Technical Account Management, or Professional Services, ideally in cybersecurity or enterprise software.
  • Strong technical background in IT infrastructure, including Windows, Linux, Active Directory, Cloud, and Networking.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience in system administration, networking, or troubleshooting.
  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity concepts, Microsoft network protocols, and security validation practices.
  • Relevant certifications such as CEH or CISSP are an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in Hebrew and English.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with a focus on customer success.
  • Independent, proactive, and resourceful with a collaborative approach.
  • Availability for frequent travel within Israel and abroad.

Preferred Skills

  • Practical experience in penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, or red team exercises is a significant advantage.
  • Experience with Microsoft network protocols and network security architecture.
  • Previous work in a cybersecurity startup or with enterprise solutions.
