As we continue to grow and establish our presence in the market, we are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking and strategic Sales Engineer to join our executive team. As the Sales Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in gaining net new logos. 
The Sales Engineer (SE) will support business and revenue goals by providing high quality business and product presentations and demonstrations to potential and existing RightCrowd customers. The SE will also provide input on the qualification of prospects and play a significant role in the creation of business strategies to secure new business for RightCrowd. The SE works in tandem with the sales and customer teams to drive new sales opportunities from qualification to close. In particular, the SE focuses on understanding the business and the technical requirements of the prospect and strives to showcase how the RightCrowd platform can meet these requirements. The SE is expected to have in-depth knowledge of product functional capabilities and technical architecture and possess a good understanding of the sales enablement landscape with respect to business/technology drivers and competitive.
What You’ll Do
Study the product and services and become the product champion:   
  • Identify and properly qualify new business opportunities 
  • Provide customer support by responding to customer inquiries and requests relative to expansion and upsell opportunities. 
  • Partner with select current customers to ascertain current needs and generate additional sales
  • Introduce to the potential customers, the company full range of products and services 
  • Ensure that databases are current and updated with accurate customer information 
  • Participate and represent the company in major events such as trade shows, or any industry related activities.
  • Keep management and sales team members informed of all relevant activity 
  • Participating in any training and Innovation activities to remain on Top of the industry.
  • Participate in responding to RFQ’s, RFI’s and RFP’s for standard Bids 
  • Assist in developing in house documents as part of knowledge base. 
  • Process and/or backup inside sales, outside sales, including es, estimating, customer order review, sales
  • Maintain & improve existing customer relations 
  • Assist with answering sales telephone calls as required
  • Other duties as assigned
