Job Description:

We are looking for a new colleague to join our team as a Sales Engineer at our Romanian GCE subsidiary. The GCE Group is today Europe ́s leading company in the field of gas control and is involved in the development and manufacturing of all types of equipment for pressure and flow control of high-pressure gases. GCE’s main business originally concentrated in the oxy-acetylene cutting and welding market. However, with almost 100 years of experience in the handling of high-pressure gases, the product range has now grown to include high purity and medical gas equipment.

About the job:

  • Provide bidding, technical support, and user consultancy for Healthcare/Homecare and Central Gas Supply Systems.

  • Communicate with existing customers and visit potential clients to assess needs.

  • Proactively seek new market opportunities and partners in Romania and Turkey.

  • Responsible for sales and identifying new clients to meet profitability goals in the GCE Romania territory.

  • Develop proposals for existing clients to expand product usage and help their business.

  • Achieve growth and sales targets by implementing strategic plans.

  • Answer customer questions regarding terms, products, prices, and availability professionally.

  • Give sales presentations and negotiate contract terms with prospective clients.

  • Coordinate sales efforts with marketing programs and handle post-sales services.

  • Regular domestic travel is required as part of the role.

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in a technical/chemical engineering field preferably or bachelor’s degree or above in economics combined with at least 3 years technical goods sales experience, preferably in consultative type sales operation

  • At least 5 years of experience in B2B sales

  • Proficiency in English (internal and external communication)

  • Personal car driving license

  • Ready for frequent business travels (mainly in Romania, occasionally in Turkey as per business needs)
