About this role:
The Pickle Sales Team is looking for an innovative and solutions centric Sales Engineer. Sales Engineers are responsible for analyzing our customers' operations and processes to achieve optimal system designs and ensure successful application of our solutions. As a Sales Engineer, you will interact with customers and internal team members throughout the presales process. Successful candidates will be innovative, have strong technical problem-solving abilities, business and technical acumen, excellent project management skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
What You’ll Accomplish:
- Provide technical support and insight on discovery and roadmap calls.
- Facilitate system demonstrations and site visits for prospects.
- Perform data analysis to assess solution applicability and capture requirements.
- Develop concept system designs to include robot counts, productivity estimates and description of operations.
- Support the sales team in proposal development to include ROI and savings estimates.
- Help design and scope pilot projects to demonstrate the viability of Pickle Robotics solutions.
- Support implementations with customers technical staff.
- Provide technical context in competitive comparison calls.
- Represent Pickle Robotics in onsite customer visits and at trade shows.
Who You Are:
- A sales engineer with over 5 years of experience in this capacity or a related position.
- An expert in logistics and warehousing practices and environments.
- Experienced in working with warehouse automation solutions.
- An Excel data analysis and modeling power user.
- Adept at using CAD platforms such as OnShape or Solidworks.
- Willing and able to work in a fast-paced environment that expects great things every day.
- An excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing.
- A data-driven storyteller skilled at connecting sales and product concepts to customer outcomes.
- Able to travel up to 25-50% of the time.
