BPOD latam is looking for a person to support our team as Sales Engineer based in Mexico City.



Position Summary:

The Sales Engineer provides technical expertise and pre-sales support to the field sales team throughout the software sales cycle. This role focuses on the enterprise systems management portfolio, with emphasis on infrastructure, identity, and workspace management solutions. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Define comprehensive software solutions that address customer business and technical needs, delivering clear and engaging presentations on the company’s products and services. 
  • Support the sales team in identifying customer requirements and demonstrating how proposed solutions meet those needs effectively. 
  • Prepare detailed product specifications and technical documentation to support solution design and sales processes. 
  • Conduct customer needs assessments and translate findings into actionable solution recommendations. 
  • Provide project scoping, ensuring feasibility and alignment with client objectives. 
  • Coordinate with internal subject matter experts and cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive solution delivery. 
  • Partner with sales representatives to create demand, build strong customer relationships, and advance opportunities. 
  • Enhance partner enablement programs by developing and implementing training initiatives that support sales and marketing success in collaboration with channel partners. 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree
    or Engineering studies.
     
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in technology related presales. 
  • In-depth knowledge of enterprise systems management portfolio, with emphasis on infrastructure, identity, and workspace management solutions 
  • Proven history working with vendors, wholesalers, partners, System Integrators, Consulting Companies and end users within technology industry. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills including sales, problem solving, and customer service are absolutely required. 
  • Ability to deliver high impact presentations leveraging strong technical skills 
  • Ability to work independently but meet assigned goals and objectives in designated time frames. 
  • Fluency written and verbal communications in English is a must.
