Raintree is seeking a Sales Engineering Associate to support our growing Sales Engineering organization as we expand our enterprise and strategic sales initiatives.
This role is ideal for someone with experience supporting healthcare technology, EHR/EMR systems, software implementations, technical support, solution consulting, or healthcare operations who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and working across teams.
The Sales Engineering Associate will help drive operational excellence across Sales Engineering by managing demo environments, supporting RFP and technical response processes, documenting workflows, and helping prepare Raintree for increasingly complex enterprise opportunities.
This position is not a quota-carrying sales role and is not expected to independently deliver customer-facing sales presentations. Instead, this individual will serve as a technical and operational partner to the Sales Engineering team, helping create scalable processes that improve efficiency, consistency, and readiness.
- Maintain and enhance Raintree's sales demo environments and data sets.
- Ensure demos accurately reflect real-world outpatient therapy workflows.
- Support new feature releases and demo readiness efforts.
- Assist with RFPs, RFIs, security questionnaires, and technical evaluations.
- Maintain a centralized library of approved responses and supporting documentation.
- Research product capabilities, integrations, and technical requirements.
- Document customer workflows and business processes.
- Create process maps, solution documentation, and technical resources.
- Support discovery efforts by organizing customer requirements and operational needs.
- Support project coordination across Sales, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success.
- Maintain technical assets, playbooks, and documentation repositories.
- Help identify opportunities to improve efficiency and scalability across the Sales Engineering function.
- 2–5 years of experience in healthcare technology, healthcare SaaS, EHR/EMR systems, software implementation, technical support, or solution consulting.
- Strong written communication and documentation skills.
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with EHR, EMR, Practice Management, Revenue Cycle Management, or healthcare software platforms.
- Experience supporting RFP, RFI, or technical proposal processes.
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Google Workspace, Canva, and presentation tools.
- Experience creating workflow documentation, process maps, or technical documentation.
- Knowledge of healthcare interoperability, integrations, or APIs.
Within your first year, you will:
- Improve the quality and consistency of Raintree's demo environments.
- Help establish a repeatable RFP and technical response process.
- Create scalable workflow documentation and technical assets.
- Reduce operational burden on the Sales Engineering team.
- Become a trusted partner to Sales Engineering, Product, and Revenue leadership.
Raintree is transforming outpatient therapy through innovative technology, AI-powered solutions, and industry-leading clinical workflows.
As a Sales Engineering Associate, you'll work at the intersection of healthcare, technology, and enterprise growth while helping build the systems and processes that support the next phase of Raintree's success.
