A Day in the LifeWe are seeking a dynamic Indirect Channels Lead to drive distributor performance and growth across key markets. This role involves managing strategic partnerships, optimizing indirect sales channels, and ensuring alignment with regional business objectives. The ideal candidate will have strong commercial acumen, stakeholder management skills, and a proven track record in distributor engagement.Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Implement the strategy for indirect channel execution for a group of Emerging channel partners (distributors).
 - Ensure consistent application of best practices & capability development of channel partners
 - Develop relationships & engagement with channel partners to build long term strategic partnership – maintain an independent point of view on channel partners
 - Lead partner Communication and bottleneck resolution
 - Regular review of channel partner performance, monitor financial health, capability to invest fund the growth of Medtronic growth expectation, credit terms, monitor partner-customer relationships.
 - Identify, recruit and onboard partners that meet Medtronic standards and are aligned with our strategic business intent. Identify and support growth and margin optimization initiatives.
 - On ground execution of channel transformation initiatives (distributor communications, appointment, termination, negotiations, buybacks etc)
 
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical engineering, Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or equivalent is a plus.
 - Languages: Proficiency in English is required; additional regional languages are an advantage.
 - Channel Management Expertise: Proven experience in managing indirect sales channels, particularly distributor networks, with a strong understanding of channel dynamics and performance drivers.
 - Commercial Acumen: Solid background in sales, business development, or commercial operations, with the ability to analyse market trends and translate insights into actionable strategies.
 - Stakeholder Engagement: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain relationships with distributors, internal teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
 - Strategic Planning: Experience in developing and executing channel strategies aligned with regional and global business objectives.
