Job DescriptionWe are looking for a strategic, detail-oriented Audience Measurement Deal Analyst to support the structuring of Nielsen’s Commercial customer base. In this role, you will partner directly with Sales to close the company’s highest-valued and most strategic opportunities. You will serve as the "bridge" between Sales, Finance, Product, and Legal, ensuring that complex deals move from proposal to execution with speed, accuracy, and strategic alignment.
Deal Structuring & Negotiation Support
Drive Success: Own the end-to-end closure of opportunities across the Audience Measurement portfolio, managing deal structuring, internal approvals, and escalations.
Strategic Partner: Support Sales through complex negotiations by applying deal playbook tactics and delivering high-quality commercial proposals.
Problem Solver: Identify and resolve internal and external blockers (systemic or policy-related) to ensure deals are finalized efficiently.
Operational Excellence
Workflow Ownership: Manage Deal Desk operations, including deal screening, dashboard maintenance, and KPI reporting.
Process Innovation: Influence the system and process architecture roadmap by identifying gaps in accuracy or efficiency and recommending solutions.
Execution: Action against team SLAs, ensuring high accuracy targets and strict adherence to commercial policies.
Cross-Functional Leadership
Liaison: Act as the central point of contact between Sales, Finance, Product, Operations, and Legal to harmonize conflicting priorities.
System Support: Support the quoting process by removing system blockers and managing deal-related escalations within the CRM.
Experience & Skills
Professional Experience: 4+ years of relevant experience in deal structuring/strategy, commercial solutioning, or business operations.
Strategic Acumen: Deep understanding of deal frameworks and sales plays across both subscription and consumption-based product models.
Technical Proficiency: Expert-level command of CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), contract management tools, and data analytics software.
Communication: Exceptional oral and written communication skills with a proven ability to handle objections and manage senior stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
Prior experience in Media/Tech pricing strategies.
Knowledge of discounting practices and revenue optimization techniques.
Advanced data analysis skills to support audit functions and operational workflows.
