The Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented Sales Enablement & Learning Program Manager that is enthusiastic about enablement and helping others succeed. This person will be a critical contributor of Morningstar's sales enablement and learning with exposure to various global sales teams including Sales Development Representatives, Mid-Market Accounts, and Direct Sales Specialist sales teams. This individual will also ensure sellers have the skills, knowledge, and process expertise to be effective and efficient in their roles. The enablement program focuses on four key focus areas including: Industry Domain Knowledge, Product, Client Facing Skills, and Sales/Service Operations.
Reporting to the Director of Sales Enablement & Learning, the Program Manager partners with stakeholders across the organization to design, develop and execute impactful enablement and learning solutions for teams to grow their individual capabilities, build knowledge, and develop their skills. In this role you will focus on enablement that will elevate the teams' ability to expand and enhance client relationships and uncover opportunities for Morningstar.
Responsibilities:

  • Support onboarding program for teams, which includes organization of onboarding plans, facilitation of live sessions, coordination with managers on 30-60-90-day expectations, and coaching where applicable.
  • Partner with Enablement and SMEs to develop training curriculum appropriate for Mid-Market teams; this includes taking inventory of existing curriculum, identifying gaps, and developing missing content, and determine fit for various training modalities (live, self-guided/e-Learning)
  • Successfully navigate, prioritize, and balance conflicting stakeholder initiatives.
  • Be a key stakeholder in the delivery of training programs including new go-to-market solutions, industry trends, client facing skill workshops, significant methodology changes and enhancements to existing solutions.
  • Be a strategic partner with Sales leaders, selling teams, Product Marketing/Management, Client Solutions, and other groups to identify overall training needs, develop and deliver appropriate enablement training and supporting content. This includes managing stakeholder expectations and communications.
  • Be resourceful to learn and master the complexities of the industry that Morningstar serves.
  • Evaluate, iterate, and measure the effectiveness of programs by utilizing methods like impact metrics and KPIs.


Experience, Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% both nationally and internationally to execute the program.
  • 5+ years of experience in related skills including sales enablement, learning and development, coaching/employee development, previous sales or customer success preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and facilitating/delivering content/curriculum delivered in multiple modalities (i.e., live training, e-Learning, self-paced, stand and deliver, hybrid, etc.).
  • Personality and ability to engage and collaborate well across complex organizations including sales/service managers, sellers, service reps, marketing, and product management.
  • Strong aptitude for collaborating and building relationships, understanding team dynamics, taking initiative, solving problems, and establishing trust.
  • Proven dynamic presentation and written communication skills are required.
  • Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Passion and commitment for adult learning best practices and techniques.
  • Intermediate skills with PowerPoint and Excel, LMS (i.e., Cornerstone) or Sales Enablement Platform software (i.e., Seismic) and solid aptitude for learning new systems and tools.
