Purpose of the role 

This is a non-technical role within the UK&I J&J Business Intelligence & SFE team. The team is evolving into a strategic partner and proactive trusted advisor, directly driving business goals as part of our transformation journey. Our vision is to empower the organization to uncover and achieve key objectives, ensuring resilience in uncertain market conditions and enable success of strategic priorities.  

We are looking for someone with sales experience who want to leverage that expertise to drive high priority change management. Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with the sales organization to drive critical initiatives, change management and new ways of working (e.g., Sales Effectiveness). A perfect candidate will understand commercial needs/pain points and ability to co-create/ jointly problem solve with the organisation to then drive change.  

This role and the initiatives it will drive will be highly visible across senior franchise leadership, giving an outstanding opportunity to work directly with senior leadership across all franchises at the GM, BUD, and RSM levels. You will gain exposure to business operations, broadening your understanding of decision-making processes and strategic priorities. This experience will enrich your sales career and position you as a well-rounded future leader.  

You will be part of a high-performing, data-driven Business Intelligence & Salesforce Effectiveness team, engaging in strategic decision making, quantitative and qualitative analyses, and business process improvement. You will constantly strive to challenge the status quo, continuously driven a data-led culture change. 

You will work each day with multifunctional teams including Franchise Leadership Teams, Sales and Marketing, Service & Solutions, IT, Finance and Supply Chain as well as EMEA regional colleagues and will get a fantastic insight into how Johnson & Johnson works. You be part of a high performing team to and focus on excellence in execution, and you will contribute to evolving data capabilities and data driven decision making. 

What to expect: 

Project managing initiatives from discovery through to implementation  

Proactively identifying business opportunities 

Driving change management efforts by coaching RSMs  

Crafting training materials and best practices  

Supporting meeting cadences and governance processes 

Analysing SFE performance benchmarks and identifying common issues and mitigations  

Facilitating cross-franchise adoption and use of new tools and processes

Reporting into the Business Intelligence & SFE Manager, you will work closely with the following people:  

Franchise marketing teams 

Franchise Commex 

Customer Service 

IT 

Finance 

Wider JJMT organisation 

Who are we looking for: 

To excel in this role, you will have a proven track record of success within your previous and current roles. You will be intellectually curious, will have demonstrable success and high level of performance in your sales or marketing roles. I will have an ambition to become a senior leader one day with a strategic outlook.  

You will have demonstrated the following key skills:

Ability to develop and communicate long-term strategies aligned with overarching business goals 

Proven experience in collaborating with senior leaders and influencing decision-making without direct authority 

Skilled in leading change initiatives, coaching teams, and managing resistance 

Expertise in performance benchmarking, business modelling, and analytics frameworks 

Highly numerate with strong business acumen, analytical and problem-solving ability 

Exceptional communication skills to convey complex insights clearly and persuasively 

A deep understanding of healthcare, sales, and marketing dynamics to inform strategic initiatives 

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence without authority  

Strong organisational skills and project management skills 

The ability to lead projects from discovery through to successful implementation, ensuring timely delivery 

Must be motivated and self-driven; able to work independently and in a team environment

Attention to detail 

Ability to prioritise work and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment to meet tight deadlines 

Growth/high performance mindset 

Degree qualified desirable
