About this opportunity:
The primary goal of the Sales director is to manage the Networks business across Tier 1 Canadian Operator ,Operator, from securing new business to execute the signed contracts in line with customer expectation.
The sales director is responsible for developing the strategy, securing and growing the RAN and Microwave business within the Account. The role is responsible for ensuring the extension of current contracts as well as promoting new solutions from Ericsson Networks portfolio to support the operator in growing their Wireless business. The sales director is the prime interface for the Operator for all contractual and sales topics. Internally, he/she is taking the role of the Account Commercial Responsible (ACR) and leading the Core 3 (ACR, CSR- Customer Solution Responsible, CFR - Customer Fulfillment Responsible) to achieve the account objectives/targets and ensure overall customer satisfaction.
What you will do:
  • Generate profitability sales and develop long term business
  • Follow financial status of different contracts and initiate improvement plans when necessary
  • Identify new business opportunities and drive sales activities to create demand
  • Develop account plans and strategies in alignment with customer needs and Ericsson's goals
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers and influencers at all levels within the customer organization
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with customers and partners
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders such as delivery, finance, legal, marketing, etc. to ensure smooth execution of projects
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports
  • Monitor market trends, competitors' activities, and customer feedback
  • Ensure compliance with Ericsson's policies and procedures

The skills you bring:
  • Master's degree in Business Administration or Engineering or a related field required
  • 3+ years of proven experience in relationship-driven sales within the ICT sector.
  • Strong understanding of Ericsson portfolio (specially Networks portfolio)
  • Strong knowledge of Ericsson processes and tools
  • Strong knowledge of Network rollout Services
  • Knowledge of Telecom Canadian market challenges and opportunities
  • The role requires a high level of problem-solving and critical thinking, along with the ability to effectively promote teamwork and collaboration.
  • Financial acumen as well as Innovative and creative thinking
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Excellent social and interpersonal skills

Your Pay
The salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, and the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
The salary range for this position is
• Ontario: $160,000 - $210,000
Sales Incentive Plan (SIP): Your pay also includes the opportunity for sales incentives as a part of Ericsson's Sales Incentive Plan. Actual payouts are based on performance of the business against the unit's objectives, individual performance, and the individual incentive target. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply.

Ericsson offers excellent health benefits including the choice of 3 medical and dental plan options that allow an employee to select the level of coverage that suits their needs. Core level coverage is paid for fully by Ericsson.
Your Financial Security
We invest in both your short and long-term financial wellbeing. Ericsson's Group Retirement & Savings Program offers an automatic 2% company contribution into the Pension Plan. Ericsson also offers a 50% match of employee's contribution into the Registered Retirement Savings Plan, up to 8% of the employee's contribution (maximum of 4% match). This leads to a total company contribution potential of 6%. Employees will also receive basic life insurance and basic accidental death and dismemberment coverage at two-times annual base pay at no cost, as well as short-term disability coverage. Employees also have the option to participate in Ericsson's Stock Purchase Plan.
Your Time
Your work-life balance is important to us. New employees are provided a minimum of 18 days of accrued vacation, plus at least 3personal days, minimum 10 holidays, 1 volunteer day, and sick days. Please note paid time off is pro-rated based on the employee's start date. Furthermore, Ericsson provides up to 10 weeks of paid maternity leave and 6 weeks of parental or adoption leave at 100% of pay.
