The Role
Maxio is seeking highly motivated and results-driven Sales Director to lead a high-performing sales team responsible for driving new business across mid-market and enterprise SaaS customers. This leader will be accountable for sales planning, pipeline development, forecasting accuracy, and team execution. You’ll build and scale a disciplined sales motion while coaching Account Executives to deliver excellence in every stage of the sales cycle
What You’ll Do
- Own and exceed ARR targets—deliver predictable, repeatable growth with forecast accuracy within ±10%
- Responsible for hiring, enabling and maintaining a top performing team of up to 7 AE's ( 2 enterprise + 5 mid market)
- Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with company goals, in partnership with the Head of Sales and Finance.
- Build and scale pipeline generation across inbound, outbound, and partner-assisted channels.
- Recruit, coach, and develop a high-performing AE team; set clear expectations and implement consistent deal-review and coaching frameworks.
- Drive deal quality and velocity through disciplined opportunity management, value articulation, and executive alignment.
- Evangelize Maxio’s platform—showcase the business impact of Billing, Payments, and Revenue Recognition to CFO, RevOps, and Product leaders.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure GTM alignment and closed-loop feedback.
- Maintain operational rigor by enforcing CRM hygiene, pipeline coverage targets, and KPI reporting to ELT.
- Partner with Customer Success to drive expansion, renewals, and multi-product adoption.
- 5+ years in B2B SaaS sales, including 2+ years leading AE or SDR teams.
- Proven record of consistent quota over-achievement and team attainment >100%.
- Deep understanding of SaaS sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDICC, Challenger, SPIN).
- Data-driven and analytical; skilled at using metrics and pipeline data to drive performance.
- Experience selling to Finance, RevOps, and IT buyers within SaaS or recurring-revenue models.
- Excellent communicator with strong executive presence and influence skills.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, results-oriented, collaborative culture.
