The role

We are seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead and grow our commercial function. This role will combine hands-on selling with team leadership and growth, ensuring our go-to-market strategy is executed with precision while developing and scaling our US sales organization. The Sales Director will own key client relationships, drive new business, and manage a team of Account Executives to deliver consistent, predictable revenue growth.

Responsibilities

Strategic leadership

  • Define and execute the sales strategy in alignment with company growth objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing team of Account Executives, providing coaching on prospecting, deal management, and account growth.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to refine positioning, improve lead generation, and enhance the customer journey.
  • Forecast revenue and build robust sales pipelines using data-driven insights.

Hands-on sales execution

  • Own senior-level relationships with strategic accounts, serving as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders.
  • Personally lead on high-value enterprise deals, from prospecting through negotiation and closing.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer forums, positioning us as a market leader.
  • Stay close to the market and competitive landscape, bringing feedback into product and strategy discussions.
Qualifications
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets in SaaS, data, or energy/technology sectors.
  • Leadership experience managing and scaling sales teams, ideally in high-growth environments.
  • Strong consultative selling skills, with the ability to navigate complex enterprise sales cycles.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, comfortable engaging with C-level executives.
  • Experience working cross-functionally to align sales with product, marketing, and customer success.

Important Details
  • For New York Applicants, the base salary range for this position is 150 - 200k per year, depending on experience, plus bonus.
  • We are an in-person company that values collaboration and team culture. Everyone works in the office Tuesday through Thursday, with flexibility to work from home or the office on Mondays and Fridays.
  • 25 days annual leave; medical, dental and vision benefits; 401k with optional matching contribution.
