Position Overview

HBK Engineering Solutions is seeking an experienced sales professional to maintain and grow sales across our extensive US Government and non-government customer base.  This role will also provide supervisory support of sales teams from other HBK groups that identify opportunities within their customer base and then coordinate any activities with the Engineering Solutions team.

US Citizenship required

Location:  USA Home Working, Full-time

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy Planning & Pipeline Management
  • Accurate forecasting
  • Oversight of external software sales teams
  • Customer relationship management
  • Software Maintenance & Renewal Contracts
  • Work with Project Managers, Product Owners, System Architects, and Software Developers to scope project/product delivery, providing timely response to RFQs, RFIs, and other requests
  • Monitor Government sites for award opportunities
  • Promote HBK Engineering Solutions through conferences, webinars and industry partners

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
  • 3-5 years’ experience in B2B software sales
  • Experience with solutions selling
  • Experience managing large accounts ($1M+)
  • Proven track record meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Proven ability to manage small, multifunctional teams and sales groups
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to understand and communicate technical solutions/product details

Required Skills

  • Technical aptitude and ability to learn and demonstrate complex solutions/products
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools
  • Experience with virtual sales techniques and tools
  • Strong business acumen and ethics
  • US Government security clearance eligibility

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Reliability and/or Durability Engineering
  • Understanding of enterprise and cloud software environments
  • Salesforce skills
  • Working knowledge of Government contracts and components, including: CPFF, IDIQ, OTAs, FARs, DFARs

Working Conditions

  • Occasional travel
  • Support US time zones with occasional flexibility to accommodate global customers
  • Fast-paced environment requiring excellent time management
  • Can require extended hours, especially when large proposals/contracts are approaching deadline
