Position SummaryThe Director of Sales is responsible for leading and managing the Williamsburg Sales Center's vacation ownership sales operations. This role drives revenue growth, develops and coaches sales professionals, ensures achievement of sales targets, and delivers exceptional customer experiences while supporting the overall sales strategy of Hilton Grand Vacations.
Essential Responsibilities- Lead, manage, and motivate a team of Sales Professionals to achieve and exceed sales goals.
- Attain sales objectives and maximize profitability for the sales office.
- Establish clear performance expectations and sales targets for team members.
- Recruit, hire, onboard, train, and develop sales personnel.
- Conduct performance evaluations, coaching sessions, and corrective action when necessary.
- Assist sales representatives in closing sales and completing required documentation.
- Monitor and manage sales forecasts, budgets, commissions, and administrative expenses.
- Conduct individual and group sales training meetings.
- Foster a high-performance sales culture focused on customer satisfaction and business results.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and HR standards.
- Partner with senior leadership and peer Directors of Sales to execute strategic initiatives.
- Proven leadership experience in sales management.
- Strong coaching, mentoring, and team-development skills.
- Demonstrated success achieving revenue and profitability goals.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and closing abilities.
- Experience in vacation ownership, timeshare, hospitality, or related industries preferred.
