About the position

As the Senior Semiconductor Sales Director at ASC Global, you will play a pivotal role in driving demand for our semiconductor products across the Americas. This on-site position in Tamarac, FL, requires you to oversee relationships with ASC Accounts, independent representatives, and resellers while leading a high-performing team to achieve revenue goals and expand our market presence. The Director of Sales will be responsible for leading the sales team, developing and implementing sales strategies, and driving revenue growth for our electronic components business. Additionally, you will need to manage a personal book of clients, actively engage in sales, and maintain strong client relationships while guiding and supporting the sales team. Your role will involve crafting and executing strategic sales initiatives, managing key customer relationships, and identifying new market opportunities to fuel growth. In this position, you will lead and inspire a high-performing sales team to achieve sales objectives, fostering a culture of excellence. You will maintain and grow a personal book of clients while engaging in direct sales, balancing client management with team leadership. Developing and implementing comprehensive sales strategies to meet revenue targets, increase market share, and expand the customer base will be crucial. Staying updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer demands will help you drive strategic decisions and adapt sales tactics effectively. Building and sustaining strong relationships with key clients and distributors will be essential, as will identifying and pursuing new market opportunities. You will analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to provide accurate sales forecasts, implement corrective actions, and report on performance. Continuously evaluating and enhancing the sales process, including lead generation, opportunity management, and sales funnel optimization, will be part of your responsibilities. You will also implement and utilize sales enablement tools and best practices to streamline operations and improve efficiency. Your efforts will drive revenue growth by meeting or exceeding sales targets, negotiating contracts, managing pricing strategies, and overseeing agreements and commissions. Collaborating with senior executives to identify and pursue strategic partnerships, distribution channels, and acquisitions will strengthen our market position. Advocating for customer needs and expectations will ensure high levels of satisfaction and effective resolution of issues. You will prepare and present regular sales forecasts, provide actionable insights to senior management, and report on customer interactions and competitive intelligence. Additionally, you will recruit, train, and manage sales representatives and agents, setting clear goals and monitoring performance while managing cost and pricing strategies to enhance profitability, ensuring alignment with company goals.

Requirements
  • Proven experience (8 to 12 years) as a Sales Director or in a similar senior sales leadership role within the semiconductor industry.

  • Excellent leadership and team management capabilities with a track record of building and nurturing high-performing sales teams.
  • Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth, achieving sales targets, and expanding market share.
