Sales Director, Semiconductor Mixed Signal IP and ASIC, Various Locations (US-California, Europe, Taiwan, Japan, Korea)
Responsibilities
- Deliver on Revenue, Gross Margin, and Design Win goals.
- Prospecting for new accounts and identifying new opportunities while maintaining and growing the existing customer base.
- Developing strong trustworthy relationships with senior-level managers such as engineering, executive management, and purchasing at target accounts.
- Working with our IP and ASIC marketing team to develop account strategies based on market analysis and customer segmentation.
- Negotiation of contracts for Silicon IP Licensing, and Turnkey ASIC.
- Working with our commercial legal team preparing Contracts.
- Forecasting immediate revenue and long-term growth outlook.
- Identifying customer’s immediate and future requirements, market trends, and helping to align our product development, manufacturing, and investment strategies.
Desired Characteristics
- Degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
- Work Permit e.g. US National or visa authorization for U.S. employment.
- High-energy and self-driven with strong ability to take ownership of customer relationships, solve issues, and coordinate solutions with customers
- Team player with excellent communication and listening skills.
- Strong project management and negotiating skills.
- Experience in Semiconductor; Design, Sales, Customer Engagement, or Field Applications Engineering.
- Practical experience selling; semiconductors, IP, foundry services or ASIC.
- Proven success in penetrating and developing relationships with new accounts.
- Experience with Analog and Mixed Signal, ASIC, or SoC Technologies.
- Experience in detailed forecasting and sales opportunity funnel management
- Target-oriented, with a track record in sales growth combined with excellent customer satisfaction
- Working knowledge of salesforce.com or equivalent and other common software.
- Excellent presentation skills. Comfortable presenting to large groups of technical and business personnel.
- Strong semiconductor industry network with pre-existing executive relationships.
- Good knowledge base and industry background in some of the following areas: semiconductors, wireless/wireline communications, Serdes, Lidar, Radar, automotive semiconductors, etc
