About the job
AVEVA is looking to hire a Sales Director to be based in existing AVEVA offices in South Korea. This is a people manager position, leading the Korea sales teams of AVEVA, reporting to the Korea Market Leader. We are looking for an experienced Sales Leader with proven track record of building a high-performing sales team, who has deep experience in building/transformation of sales teams, processes, and team’s culture. Experience of working based on modern sales techniques (preferably MEDDPIC) is critical.
Main responsibilities
- Development and execution of the market sales strategy in alignment with global targets, KPIs and metrics
- Management of Sales Team
- Collaboration with other functions involved into sales process (Legal, Finance, contract admin, services, technical support, presales)
- Transformation of the account managers sales approach in accordance with MEDDPIC methodology
- Team culture alignment in accordance with AVEVA Values of Impact, Aspiration, Curiosity and Trust
- Implementation and organization of the work of the sales team in accordance with company sales cadence
- Commercial model development and execution within required company commercial metric
- Growth of sales across the market
- Mentoring and coaching of Sale team members to develop their selling skills
- Champion Sales Enablement activities for specific solution areas partnering with Solution Strategy and Sales Excellence Teams
- Retaining of existing customer base and expanding solutions utilization by developing long term relationships with Executives and key decision makers
Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required
- Possess experience (at least 10 years) in a sales, account management and/or business development role selling software solutions serving industrial verticals and domains at an end-user level ranging from Oil & Gas, Chemical, Marine and EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction)
- Thought leadership. Imaginative and creative, having the conceptual ability to effectively develop new ideas and put them to practice. Clear vision and ability to align and motivate people behind the vision
- Collaboration and team player skills: able to mobilize people and resources across the organization into cross-functional teams and to deliver specific projects
- 5+ years of experience in change management (Implementation of new sales models and techniques, sales culture transformation projects)
- Deep understanding and knowledge of sales methodologies, preferably MEDDPIC
- Preferably be degree qualified or have a professional qualification
- Effective communicator with the ability to clearly convey strategies, ideas and issues across all levels within the organization and across different work streams
- Strong leadership experience in leading a sizable sales organization, and proven track record in developing a team culture that is aligned with company values of Impact, Aspiration, Curiosity and Trust
- Strong sales management experience in the use of CRM (such as Salesforce) and tools to provide clear visibility of sales cadences
- Strong communication skills in all forms – written, oral, email, presentation, and have strong Korean and English language skills
