This Position reports to:
Local Division Manager, PAEN, CanadaYour role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to define and implement sales and marketing strategies for the assigned area. Each day, you will manage the marketing and sales action plans to achieve the key qualitative and quantitative targets in a profitable way and to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by proactively leading, developing, and coaching the Marketing and Sales function.
The work model for the role is: Hybrid
This role is contributing to the Energy Industries Division in Canada. Main stakeholders are industrial and utility customers.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Creating, planning, and implementing the marketing and sales mission, vision, and strategy, along with the budget and efficiency targets for the assigned area.
- Leading the definition of the assigned division and area footprint (market presence, execution standards, and delivery model).
- Overseeing the assigned teams that identify, monitor, and maintain/exceed the sales market price levels and evaluating the pricing impact on the results with the Product Management team.
- Defining key marketing and sales targets (e.g., volume, prices, portfolio mix) and establishing appropriate metrics and measurement tools to monitor performance.
Qualifications for the role
- Ability to demonstrate 10-15 years of experience in Energy Industries, with a minimum of 5 years in senior front-end sales and Business development leadership for automation, control, and digital solutions.
- Demonstrated experience in team leadership and people development, with effective ability to build and manage efficient teams.
- Possess advanced knowledge of Electrification, Automation and Digital Solutions.
- Committed to strategic thinking, stakeholder engagement, negotiation, leadership, and team management.
- Leadership Qualities: Skilled decision-making ability, emotional intelligence, readiness to manage both expected and unexpected situations, professionalism, and the capability to inspire and motivate teams toward reaching goals.
- Degree in Engineering or Business; MBA.
- Ability to travel throughout Canada up to 30% of the time
