Our client is a leading education and training organization in Vietnam, currently seeking a member to join their team:
  • Directly partner with the Board of Management (BOM) in overseeing and scaling two core business lines

  • Strategy & Business Management
    • Take ownership of business growth in alignment with agreed revenue and profitability targets.
    • Partner with BOM to shape long-term strategic direction, annual objectives, and execution roadmaps.
    • Develop and refine business models, including SWOT analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and risks.
    • Monitor business performance on a regular basis (weekly/monthly/quarterly), with focus on revenue, cost efficiency, and profit optimization.
    • Analyze financial data, customer behavior, and operational KPIs to generate actionable business insights.
    • Initiate and implement growth strategies, including new product/service development, pricing optimization, channel expansion, and strategic partnerships.
    • Assess business risks across market, financial, and operational dimensions, and develop mitigation plans.
  • Operations Supervision
    • Oversee end-to-end daily operations across sales, marketing, customer service, and service delivery functions.
    • Enhance operational efficiency by standardizing workflows and continuously improving internal processes.
    • Define and monitor service quality standards to ensure consistent customer experience and high satisfaction levels.
    • Act as escalation point for operational issues, ensuring timely resolution through cross-functional coordination.
    • Optimize allocation of manpower, budget, and resources to maximize operational efficiency and ROI.
  • Market Research & Business Development
    • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to conduct market research and track industry trends and competitor movements.
    • Identify new opportunities for product/service innovation and market expansion.
    • Work closely with BOM to refine and adjust business strategies based on market insights.
    • Strengthen and expand external partnerships and networks within the education ecosystem, including regulatory bodies and government stakeholders.
  • Reporting & Strategic Collaboration
    • Prepare and deliver periodic business reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly) covering performance, financial results, operational updates, and market insights.
    • Provide in-depth analysis of key metrics, customer insights, and competitor benchmarking to support strategic decision-making.
    • Act as a strategic advisor to BOM, recommending initiatives, corrective actions, and strategic adjustments when required.
    • Monitor external environment developments, including market trends, policy changes, and emerging risks/opportunities.
    • Track progress of strategic initiatives, highlight risks or delays, and propose practical solutions.
    • Coordinate with internal functions (HR, Finance, Marketing, etc.) to ensure alignment and execution of business priorities.
  • Decision Making Authority
    • Authorized to make operational decisions related to sales, marketing, customer service, and service delivery.
    • Responsible for allocating resources (budget, manpower, assets) within approved frameworks to optimize performance.
    • Empowered to adjust tactical execution such as pricing, promotions, channel strategy, and customer management to achieve business targets.
    • Make decisions regarding team structure, performance management, and talent development.
    • Act as first-level decision maker in handling urgent operational issues, risks, or conflicts prior to escalation to BOM.
    • Maintain execution autonomy at business level while ensuring alignment with BOM for strategic, cross-functional, or high-impact decisions.

Requirements
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Marketing, or related disciplines.
Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business management, operations, or strategic roles, including at least 2 years in senior leadership positions (CEO, Managing Director, Operations Director, or equivalent).
  • Proven track record of successfully launching, scaling, or managing a business for at least 2 years.
  • Strong background in sales, marketing, customer service, and operational management, preferably within service-based industries (education, training, consulting, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience in market research, competitive analysis, and business development initiatives.
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into business strategies.
  • Prior experience working directly with Board of Management or Board of Directors is highly preferred.
