In the role of a Sales Development Representative, your responsibilities will include acquiring clients through a range of tactics, establishing connections, pinpointing their requirements, and working in conjunction with account executives to achieve your goals.
Requirements
Sales Strategies
· Your role as a Sales Development Representative entails the development of comprehensive sales strategies aimed at attracting and engaging new prospective customers. This involves employing both inbound and outbound techniques to reach your target audience effectively.
Lead Generation
· You will proactively initiate contact with potential clients, employing methods such as cold-calling and promptly responding to inquiries generated through various advertising channels, including the company website and phone channels.
· You will skilfully identify these prospects' needs and provide tailored recommendations regarding the most suitable products or services that align with their requirements.
· Building meaningful relationships with prospects will be a key aspect of your role. By doing so, you will identify their specific needs and assess their potential as valuable clients. Your aim is to not only gauge their interest but also determine their suitability to drive sales.
· Once you've established the needs and interests of potential customers, you will adeptly present them with detailed product information, ensuring they have a comprehensive understanding of the offerings.
Market Development
· Your role extends to guiding qualified leads through the marketing funnel. This involves seamlessly transitioning them to account managers and coordinating essential interactions, which can include in-person meetings, email correspondences, or phone calls.
· Additionally, part of your responsibilities will involve diligent follow-up with potential customers who have expressed interest but have not yet made a purchase, ensuring that no opportunity is left unexplored.
· To expand the company's market presence, you will actively engage with existing customers. This engagement aims to raise awareness, educate them about additional offerings, request referrals, uncover new business opportunities, and gather valuable account intelligence.
· In close collaboration with account executives, you will work cohesively to ensure that the company's overarching goals and targets are not just met but exceeded. Your combined efforts will contribute significantly to the organization's success in attracting and retaining valuable clients.
Must haves:
· You have proven work experience as a Sales Development Representative, Sales Account Executive or similar role.
· A minimum of 2+ years of sales development operations (preferably with B2B sales)
· You demonstrate a strong understanding of company positioning, pricing, and business development strategies for enterprise SaaS companies and multinational OEM’s.
· A strategic thinker who can lead the initiatives and build lead generation strategies for the company.
· You have the ability to deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced target-focused environment.
· You have previous experience in handling lead generation processes for enterprise software applications such as HCM, ERP, etc.
· You are proficient with CRM and other sales operation tools.
· You are smart, excellence-driven, passionate, enthusiastic, and goal oriented.
· You possess good initiative, judgment, time management, analytical and problem-solving skills.
