Our advanced, multi-cloud platform delivers real-time data, unmatched scalability, and the flexibility of shared or dedicated processing instances. It's this global reach and innovation that sets us apart.

We’re looking for a Sales Development Representative to drive Paymentology’s growth by identifying, engaging, and qualifying potential clients across fintech, retail banking, and digital banking sectors. This role plays a critical part in researching key contacts, executing targeted outreach strategies, and building strong relationships with decision-makers to generate new business opportunities.

If you’re passionate about relationship-building, data-driven outreach, and making a tangible impact on global business expansion, this is your opportunity to thrive in a high-growth, innovative environment.

What you get to do:
  • Identify and research key contacts and decision-makers at fintechs, retail banks, and digital banks within assigned territories.
  • Conduct outreach via email, LinkedIn, and phone calls to initiate conversations with potential customers.
  • Utilise HubSpot CRM and AI-driven outreach tools to track interactions, manage campaigns, and ensure timely follow-ups.
  • Establish and nurture meaningful relationships with decision-makers to support long-term partnerships.
  • Use a consultative sales approach to engage with prospects, understanding their needs and aligning solutions accordingly.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients, ensuring personalised, value-driven interactions.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, educating clients on Paymentology’s value proposition and solutions.
  • Identify client challenges and tailor solutions to meet their specific requirements, driving engagement and fostering partnerships.
  • Schedule and coordinate high-value meetings between prospects and Paymentology’s sales team.
  • Ensure a smooth transition for prospects by addressing pre-meeting queries and providing relevant information.
  • Represent Paymentology at key industry networking events, conferences, and trade shows, such as Money 20/20, Singapore Fintech Festival, and Seamless Africa.
  • Engage with prospects and clients in person to strengthen relationships and showcase Paymentology’s expertise.
  • Support the sales team by coordinating scheduled meetings and following up with leads generated during events.
  • Facilitate post-event debriefs by gathering insights, experiences, and feedback to improve future event strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of outreach activities, engagement levels, and client feedback in HubSpot CRM.
  • Provide weekly reports on outreach progress, meeting schedules, and conversion rates to sales and marketing teams.
  • Share key insights from prospect interactions to refine messaging and outreach strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between outreach efforts, campaign goals, and business objectives.

  • Comfortable engaging prospects across multiple channels, including phone outreach and in-person interactions at events
  • Ability to represent the business at industry events, actively network, and convert conversations into qualified opportunities
  • Highly organised and proactive, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders effectively
  • Self-motivated with a growth mindset and willingness to adapt and learn in a dynamic business environment

Education & Experience:

  • A degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred but not essential with relevant experience
  • Experience within fintech, payment processing, or SaaS environments is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with CRM tools, AI-driven outreach platforms, and email automation software
  • 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles, ideally within the fintech, payment processing, or SaaS sectors
