YOUR ROLE

This is a fixed term contract ending in December, with the potential to go permanent depending on impact. Working from either Gadigal land in Barangaroo or Wurundjeri land in Melbourne you will be responsible for:

  • Managing and converting a funnel of inbound leads from field marketing activities 

  • Generating new business opportunities using outbound prospecting techniques, utilising tools such as Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Account Based Marketing Services

  • Maintain accurate lead and activity records in Salesforce CRM

  • Qualifying prospects and turning interest into sales proposals
     

YOUR EXPERIENCE

On day one in this role, we'll expect you to bring the following skills, experience and behaviours:

  • You have the ability to communicate with a range of stakeholders using active listening and questioning skills

  • Experience in Cybersecurity/IT is desirable, or you have a passion for tech and a curiosity to learn about the industry

  • You can work at a fast pace, strive to meet targets and are driven by achieving KPIs

  • Proactive attitude and willingness to solve problems

  • Desire to convert problems into customer satisfaction

A Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain an appropriate clearance. Additional information with regards to clearances is available from the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency website http://www.defence.gov.au/AGSVA/. In some cases, individuals who hold a current clearance from a foreign government may be eligible to have this clearance recognised by the Australian Government and be eligible for this role. The Australian Defence Trade Controls Act (DTCA) is applicable and as such, your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role.
