As a Sales & Business Development Representative, you'll:

  • Serve as a bridge between Marketing and Sales by generating, qualifying, and educating a continuous flow of new, prospective customers
  • Work closely with the Sales & Marketing teams to implement demand generation initiatives and follow up/nurture leads
  • Drive attendance for webinars and live seminars; set meetings for conferences
  • Collect and track market intelligence for the Sales team, organizing and categorizing sales lead information
  • Assist the sales team in client collateral and sales meeting preparation  
  • Assist in prospecting
  • Create and update account plans, contact mapping and buyer personas for all key prospects
  • Ensure successful follow-through of the sales cycle by maintaining accurate activity and lead qualification information in the CRM application.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to effectively position our solutions and refine outreach strategies.
  • Partner with sales team members to enhance and ensure the completeness of Salesforce records and documentation.

  • BA/BS degree in a related field
  • 1+ year of business-related, client-facing experience or background in sales, marketing, consulting, or  media is a plus
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders
  • Exceeds goals successfully and constantly strives to be a top performer
  • Self-motivated and analytical
  • Ability to thrive within ambiguity, in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to play a client-facing role and represent IAS in a professional manner
  • Highly motivated, passionate, and able to keep a positive attitude with a passion for growth
  • Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks, and work within deadlines 
  • Experience working with Salesforce.com or other CRM platforms
  • Prior experience with Inside Sales, B2B Sales, Lead Generation, and Prospecting

Illinois Applicants: The salary range for this position is $39,900 - $68,400. Actual pay may vary based on experience or geographic location.
