We're an SF team of ~30 from Harvard, MIT, Apple, Palantir, etc. We recently raised an $85M Series B led by Benchmark, and supported by Lightspeed, YC, and Nvidia. We are rapidly building the most intelligent search engine in history.
Now, we’re looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help us bring Exa to the world!
About the Role
As an SDR at Exa, you’ll be the first point of contact for future customers. You’ll research, prospect, and start conversations with teams who need faster, smarter search. Your work will fuel the sales pipeline and directly shape our growth.
What You’ll Do
Prospect and qualify inbound and outbound leads to build a strong pipeline
Host in-person events in SF and NYC to win clients— some business travel will happen!
Research target accounts and find creative ways to connect with key decision-makers
Send personalized outreach that gets noticed and sparks conversations
Set up discovery calls and demos for Account Executives
Partner closely with AEs to refine messaging, targeting, and handoff processes
Track activities and learn from data to improve conversion rates
What You’ll Need
1+ year of experience in a customer-facing role, no SDR-specific experience required
Strong communication skills—you can write a crisp email and hold a confident conversation
