About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and strategically minded Sales Development Representative to join our commercia teaml. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional looking to leverage their expertise in technology sales within the exciting and rapidly expanding field of robotics. You will be instrumental in identifying and cultivating high-potential commercial opportunities, and driving the sales process from qualified lead to successful engagement. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in inside sales or business development, demonstrating exceptional communication, strategic thinking, and an understanding of working with nascent technology on the journey to scale. Beyond technical acumen, we highly value individuals who embody integrity, demonstrate a strong team-focused approach, and are committed to fostering a collaborative and ethical sales environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Opportunity Identification & Development:
    • Proactively identify, qualify, and develop new strategic business opportunities within target industries and accounts through market research, networking, and inbound lead qualification.
    • Conduct initial discovery calls to understand complex customer needs and align them with our robotic solutions.
  • Relationship Management & Consultative Selling:
    • Act as a trusted advisor, providing comprehensive insights into how our robotic products and services can help to solve specific customer challenges.
    • Guide prospects through the sales funnel, addressing objections, and collaborating with technical teams to develop tailored solutions.
  • Sales Process Leadership & Support:
    • Lead the initial stages of the sales cycle, from qualification to proposal generation, often collaborating closely with field sales and technical specialists.
    • Ensure meticulous and timely updates within our CRM system providing accurate sales forecasts and pipeline visibility. 
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Work with marketing, product development, engineering, and customer success teams to ensure a unified and exceptional customer experience.
    • Provide valuable market intelligence and customer feedback to inform product strategy and marketing campaigns.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 3-5+ years of progressive experience in inside sales, business development, or account management, preferably within the robotics, automation, industrial technology, or B2B software sectors.
  • Demonstrated passion for and understanding of robotics, automation, AI, or advanced industrial technology.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical and business value propositions to diverse audiences.
  • Unwavering integrity and strong ethical conduct, ensuring all interactions uphold the highest professional standards.
  • Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team, contributing to collective goals and supporting colleagues.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to identify and solve complex problems.
  • Highly organized, results-oriented, and proficient in managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
