The Role

Carbon Robotics builds the industry-leading AI-powered LaserWeeder™ which combines computer vision, AI deep learning technology, robotics, and lasers to identify crops versus weeds - and shoots the weeds with lasers.

More than 100 of the world’s largest specialty crop growers have deployed LaserWeeders™ in North America, Europe, and Australia. This no-touch, precision technology is effective day and night in over 100 crops in both organic and conventional farming.

LaserWeeders™ are designed at Carbon Robotics headquarters in Seattle, Washington and manufactured in our state of the art new manufacturing facility in Richland, Washington. Carbon Robotics has raised $157 million in capital since 2018 from investors that include BOND, NVentures (NVIDIA’s venture capital arm), Anthos Capital, Fuse Venture Capital, Ignition Partners, Revolution, Sozo Ventures, and Voyager Capital.

Carbon Robotics is seeking a dynamic Sales Development Representative (SDR) to drive pipeline growth and revenue by engaging target markets through strategic, multi-channel outreach. The SDR will focus on prospecting, lead qualification, and building relationships with key contacts to introduce the LaserWeeding product and tailor solutions for growers. This role reports to the Inside Sales Manager.

Location : West Coast preferred, Remote

What you’ll do:

  • Manage prospecting activities and maintain account, contact, and lead data in CRM tools (Salesforce/HubSpot).
  • Achieve lead and meeting quotas through email, phone, and social outreach.
  • Develop and implement targeted prospecting plans, including tailored messaging and audience segmentation.
  • Qualify leads and schedule sales meetings for field representatives or the HQ Sales Director.
  • Deliver persuasive sales presentations when necessary.
  • Track all activities in CRM, including outreach, pipeline updates, and detailed records.
  • Master technical product knowledge to communicate value, address objections, and handle FAQs effectively.
  • Identify growers’ operational challenges to position LaserWeeder as the ideal solution.
  • Manage schedules, pipelines, and campaigns to meet company deadlines and goals.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to optimize sales strategies.
  • Provide actionable market insights to enhance decision-making across teams.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities for Success:

  • Proven success in generating and managing revenue opportunities through a robust pipeline.
  • Proficiency in English , Spanish and French is required
  • Expertise in call and email campaigns, with experience handling complex accounts.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel regionally and attend events as needed
  • Fluency in Eastern European languages is a plus.
  • Skilled in Google Sheets, data analysis, and CRM tools (HubSpot preferred).
  • Effective team player with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to share best practices, optimize processes, and deliver clear reports to leadership.
  • Self-motivated and proactive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.


Carbon Robotics follows equitable hiring practices. Flexibility in our hiring process allows hiring of talent at levels different from what are posted.  The compensation range outlined is based on a target budgeted base salary. Individual base pay depends on various factors such as relevant experience and skill, Interview assessments and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements. Offers are determined using our equitable hiring practices. Carbon Robotics offers additional compensation in the form of benefits premiums, pre-IPO stock options and On Target Earning commissions for appropriate positions. Base pay ranges are reviewed each year. We are committed to the principle of pay equity – paying employees equitably for similar work.

Carbon Robotics' base salary pay range:

$25$35 USD
