Share Local Media, or SLM, is a rapidly growing startup reimagining the world of offline marketing for tech and e-commerce companies. The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Sales Development Representative to join our fast growing sales team and lead our inbound sales efforts. This role is responsible for evaluating inbound leads, serving as the first point of contact and driving leads towards sales calls and through their first campaign. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a sales role, ideally within the marketing industry, and possess strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Review all inbound leads, including any necessary research to determine lead quality and next steps.
  • Act as initial point of contact for all qualified leads, introducing SLM appropriately and answering any initial questions.
  • Develop and grow relationships with potential clients, assisting with the transition to account management teams.
  • Drive leads towards booking a sales call through various sales tactics, including email, phone, LinkedIn etc.
  • Handle post-call follow-ups to clients, and coordinate next steps among internal teams.
  • Develop initial campaign proposals, coordinating with relevant account management teams.
  • Represent the SLM at industry events, conferences, and networking meetings to build relationships and promote our services.


Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in sales
  • Strong knowledge of sales principles & practices
  • Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and internal reporting.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (such as Hubspot) and digital marketing tools.
  • Experience working in a startup environment is a plus.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.

Most of the company is hybrid NYC based coming in a few days per week. We also do have some remote roles depending on team!
