Your Role

The Sales Development Representative is responsible for finding, qualifying, and creating new business opportunities in order to help grow the commercial footprint of our Enterprise market. This position is remote and will report directly to the Manager, Account Management.

Your Responsibilities

  • Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails to set up meetings or calls between prospects and the Sales Director.
  • Brainstorm and execute prospecting strategies to lead initial outreach to prospects.
  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities, keep records for future contact to maintain a healthy client database.
  • Professionally pitch and present our company to potential clients on a daily basis.
  • Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services, collect feedback, and report to management to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market through research and networking to meet monthly meetings targets.
  • Responsible for product knowledge to answer prospect questions through training sessions and workshops.
  • Keep up to date on trends and news from the industry, our competitors, and our target market to suggest any improvements to the outreach process and procedures.
  • Respond to prospect inquiries promptly and effectively in a fast-paced environment to ensure excellent customer experience.

Skills/Qualifications

  • Proven track record of exceeding ambitious sales activity quotas for new, innovative B2B & B2C products.
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls).
  • A self-starter who can thrive in a high-growth environment, able to work independently.
  • Excellent phone, writing, and listening skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong, professional phone presence and experience dialing/handling dozens of calls per day.
  • Passion and energy to transform an industry while helping the planet.
  • 1-3 years of sales experience.
  • Experience with Salesforce and CRM systems.
  • Preferred working hours are Central and Eastern times.


Pay Range: $68,000 - $78,000

*Base salary only. Salary dependent on multiple factors including, but not limited to, experience and location.

**Additional compensation may include equity, bonuses, stipends, medical, dental, vision, 401-k, and long-term disability insurance.
