- Close Commercial Opportunities: Manage assigned sales opportunities through the sales cycle and close business when appropriate. Renewal contracts may be managed by other sales resources.
- Identify Upsell and Cross-Sell Opportunities: Recognize expansion opportunities within customer conversations and route them to the appropriate Account Executive, Account Manager, or internal stakeholder.
- Achieve Sales Targets: Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets while maintaining consistent performance against year-to-date goals.
- Meet Activity Metrics: Achieve or exceed daily outreach, contact, and engagement targets through phone, email, video, and other virtual sales channels.
- Engage Customers Through Virtual Sales Channels: Use the most effective digital and virtual channels to connect with prospects, validate business needs, and communicate the value of relevant Thomson Reuters solutions.
- Handle Objections and Advance Opportunities: Confidently address customer questions and objections, identify barriers to purchase, and move opportunities forward in the sales process.
- Maintain Accurate Salesforce Records: Log customer interactions, sales activities, opportunity details, and follow-up actions accurately and in a timely manner within Salesforce.
- Collaborate With Internal Stakeholders: Work closely with managers, peers, Account Executives, and other internal teams to share insights, coordinate opportunity handoffs, and support overall sales growth.
- Participate in Coaching and Development: Actively engage in coaching, feedback, and professional-development activities to strengthen sales skills, business acumen, and product knowledge.
- Maintain Strong Performance Under Pressure: Effectively manage priorities, deadlines, activity expectations, and changing business requirements in a fast-paced sales environment.

- Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally and influence customers through phone, email, video, and other virtual selling channels.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with a professional, personable, and customer-focused approach.
- Ability to prospect, qualify leads, build pipeline, and identify new sales opportunities within an assigned territory.
- Ability to confidently handle objections, overcome barriers, and advance customer conversations toward commercial outcomes.
- Experience using CRM platforms and sales tools, particularly Salesforce or comparable systems.
- Intermediate computer skills and proficiency navigating standard business software, including Microsoft Office applications and CRM tools.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Motivated, self-driven, solution-oriented mindset with a strong sense of accountability and ownership.
- Ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing priorities, and develop business acumen, sales capabilities, and product knowledge.
- Demonstrated resilience, persistence, patience, and determination when facing rejection, ambiguity, or challenging sales situations.
- Ability to maintain stable and consistent performance under pressure, including time-sensitive and high-volume work environments.
