The Role
Generate and qualify leads through high-volume outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach. Follow approved scripts, handle objections, document every interaction in HubSpot, maintain CRM data quality, and route qualified opportunities to Account Executives. Collaborate on account prioritization, handoff quality, pipeline reviews, and process improvements while meeting monthly meeting and sales-qualified opportunity quotas.
Summary Generated by Built In

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is the process-driven engine of our lead generation machine — and the right person for this role knows exactly what that means. If you've built your early career inside a large, structured organization and you're ready to take everything you've learned and actually own something, this is your next move.

As Bridgeway's first SDR, you won't be just inheriting a lead gen playbook — you'll be part of taking it to the next level. You'll bring the discipline you've honed in structured environments and apply it where it matters most: establishing a repeatable lead generation process, executing a defined script on every outbound interaction, and capturing clean, complete data in the CRM after each touch. There's no ambiguity here — just clarity, consistency, and the satisfaction of knowing your output directly fuels the entire revenue pipeline. This is a rare early-career opportunity to be the person who built the function, not just worked in it.

This is a remote position with minimal overnight travel. East coast candidates preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Outreach

  • Execute the full defined lead generation process: list pull → research → call → email follow-up → CRM log, for every prospect in the assigned territory.
  • Make 60–80 outbound calls per day following the approved call script; conduct multi-touch cadences (call + email + LinkedIn) on all priority accounts.
  • Qualify inbound leads generated by marketing using the standard qualification script and route sales-ready opportunities to the assigned Account Executive within 24 hours.
  • Research target accounts and contacts to personalize the script's open and pain-point sections without deviating from qualification structure.

Script Adherence & Quality

  • Follow Bridgeway’s lead gen call script verbatim for all required fields; use approved rebuttals for common objections.
  • Participate in weekly call review sessions — calls are recorded and scored against the script rubric by sales leadership.
  • Complete script certification for any new script version within 5 business days of release before using it in the field.

Data Integrity & CRM

  • Log every call outcome, contact field, and disposition in HubSpot immediately after each interaction — no end-of-day batching.
  • Maintain 95%+ CRM field completion rate as audited weekly by Sales Ops; resolve flagged records within 48 hours.
  • Surface data anomalies (duplicate contacts, wrong industry codes, stale phone numbers) to Sales Ops using the defined data quality process.
  • Contribute to weekly pipeline data reviews by ensuring assigned segment's contact and activity data is accurate and current.

  Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

  • Collaborate with Account Executives on account prioritization and handoff quality; participate in weekly AE-SDR syncs.
  • Share script objection patterns and market intelligence with the team in the shared feedback log after each calling block.
  • Meet and exceed monthly quotas for qualified meetings booked and sales-qualified opportunities (SQOs) created.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in a sales, business development, or high-volume customer-facing role (SDR/BDR experience strongly preferred)
  • Comfortable being first, operate without peer SDRs to benchmark against, contribute to setting the standard and discipline
  • Demonstrated ability to follow a structured process consistently, where scripts are not viewed as a constraint, but rather as a competitive advantage
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to follow a script naturally and handle objections using approved rebuttals without sounding robotic
  • Strong CRM discipline — experience logging calls, contacts, and dispositions in a CRM in real time
  • Comfort with high call volume and the ability to sustain energy and script adherence through a full calling block
  • Constructive feedback orientation and ability to articulate what is and is not working in a process and translate that into concrete suggestions
  • Detail-oriented to catch and recover from errors
  • Familiarity with sales engagement platforms (Outreach, Salesloft, Apollo) and call recording tools (Gong, Chorus) is strongly preferred

Bridgeway is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Skills Required

  • 1-3 years of experience in sales, business development, or a high-volume customer-facing role
  • SDR or BDR experience
  • Ability to work independently as the first SDR and establish consistent operating standards
  • Ability to follow structured processes and scripts consistently
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to handle objections using approved rebuttals
  • Experience logging calls, contacts, and dispositions in a CRM in real time
  • Ability to sustain energy and script adherence during high-volume calling blocks
  • Constructive feedback orientation and ability to translate process observations into suggestions
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and correct errors
  • Familiarity with Outreach, Salesloft, or Apollo
  • Familiarity with Gong or Chorus
