Job Description:

At Darktrace, SDRs are more than an entry point into sales. They are the talent hub of our business. Many of our top-performing Account Executives, Sales Managers, and future leaders begin their careers here, building the foundations of commercial success in one of the world's fastest-growing technology sectors. Through our SDR Academy, you'll receive industry-leading training in cybersecurity, sales, and prospecting. You'll work alongside experienced Account Executives, learning how to build pipeline, create opportunities, and engage senior decision-makers at some of the world's most recognised organisations.

From your first conversations with CISOs, IT Directors and technology leaders, you'll develop the confidence to communicate business value, challenge thinking, and open doors to meaningful conversations around one of the most critical issues facing businesses today: cyber security.

This role offers the opportunity to master a world-class prospecting process, develop skills that will accelerate your career, and build relationships with senior stakeholders across a wide range of industries. If you're ambitious, coachable, resilient, and motivated by continuous learning, Darktrace provides an environment where your growth is directly linked to your success.

This is a hybrid position (50% in office / 50% remote) - Darktrace SDR Academy

What will I be doing?

As an SDR, you'll be responsible for creating new business opportunities and helping organisations understand how Darktrace can transform their approach to cyber security. Working closely with Account Executives, Marketing, and Sales leadership, you'll identify and engage prospective customers across your territory, using a combination of research, outbound calling, email engagement, social selling, and event networking to generate interest and build pipeline.

You'll learn how to:

  • Prospect strategically within target accounts and identify key decision-makers.

  • Engage senior stakeholders including CISOs, CIOs, IT Directors, and Security Leaders.

  • Qualify opportunities through meaningful business conversations.

  • Articulate Darktrace's value proposition and its impact on an organisation's security posture.

  • Build trusted relationships with prospects and internal stakeholders.

  • Execute multi-channel outreach campaigns using leading sales technologies.

  • Generate and schedule meetings for Account Executives, both virtually and in-person.

  • Consistently achieve and exceed quarterly targets and development milestones.

Most importantly, you'll develop the commercial, communication, and prospecting skills needed to build a successful long-term career in technology sales.

What experience do I need?

We're less focused on years of experience and more interested in your potential, drive, and willingness to learn.

You'll likely be:

  • Fluent in both French and English.

  • Curious, ambitious, and motivated by achieving goals.

  • Confident communicating with new people and building relationships.

  • Resilient, coachable, and willing to learn from feedback.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

  • Interested in technology, cybersecurity, and business development.

  • Organised and capable of managing activity across multiple accounts and prospects.

  • A strong collaborator who enjoys working closely with teammates and Account Executives.

Previous experience in sales, customer-facing roles, business development, recruitment, hospitality, retail, or competitive environments is advantageous, but not essential. What matters most is your ability to learn quickly, embrace challenges, and demonstrate the determination needed to succeed in a high-performance sales environment.

Benefits:

  • 25 days’ holiday + all public holidays,

  • Additional day off for your birthday,

  • Life & disability insurance,

  • Medical insurance,

  • Meal vouchers,
