We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Sales Development Representative to join our growing sales team in Miami.

The SDR is a sales position designed for someone looking to build a career in B2G technology sales and business development. You will be responsible for identifying prospective customers, researching target accounts, initiating conversations with decision-makers, and creating qualified sales opportunities for SuperCom's Regional Sales Managers and sales leadership.

This is a highly active role involving prospecting by phone, email, LinkedIn, and other channels. SuperCom will provide training on our products, industry, and sales process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and identify prospective customers, including government agencies, private service providers, probation organizations, and other relevant business opportunities.
  • Conduct consistent outbound prospecting through phone calls, email, LinkedIn, and other channels.
  • Engage decision-makers, introduce SuperCom's electronic monitoring solutions, and identify customer needs, business challenges, and potential opportunities.
  • Qualify prospects based on business needs, timing, authority, and opportunity potential.
  • Schedule qualified meetings, product demonstrations, and introductory calls for Regional Sales Managers and sales leadership.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified opportunities through consistent follow-up and relationship development.
  • Maintain accurate prospect, contact, and activity information in SuperCom's CRM.
  • Work closely with Regional Sales Managers and sales leadership on target accounts and opportunities.
  • Stay informed about SuperCom's products, technology, competitors, industry activity, upcoming opportunities, and contracts.
  • Meet established daily, weekly, and monthly activity and performance objectives.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in sales or business development, inside sales or a related role.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Experience with outbound calling, lead generation or appointment setting, as well as B2G or technology sales experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable making outbound phone calls and communicating with new prospects and decision-makers.
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to consistently prospect.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills, with the ability to manage multiple prospects simultaneously.
  • Ability to learn new technology and communicate information clearly.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field- an advantage.
  • Experience in electronic monitoring, public safety, government technology, SaaS, telecommunications, security, or a related industry - an advantage.
  • Comfortable in a performance-driven environment: Understands that activity and results are measured against defined objectives.
