About the role:
As a Sales Development Representative at Agora, you'll be at the front line of engaging with prospects who have already shown interest in Agora. Your goal will be to quickly connect with inbound leads, understand their needs, qualify opportunities, and create a strong first experience with our sales team.
In this role, you'll manage inbound leads across phone, email, and other channels, responding quickly and thoughtfully to understand what prompted their interest and whether Agora is a fit for their business. You'll be expected to confidently communicate our value proposition, ask strong discovery questions, handle objections, and identify opportunities for our sales team to take forward.
This role is essential to our team's growth targets. Success will require a growth mindset, strong communication skills, curiosity, organization, responsiveness, and a commitment to creating a great experience for every prospect.
What your day would look like:

- Discovery & Qualification: Engage with prospects to understand their business, current processes, pain points, and what prompted them to explore Agora. Ask thoughtful discovery questions to determine whether there is a strong fit and uncover the opportunity for the sales team.
- Multi-Channel Engagement: Connect with inbound prospects through phone, email, and LinkedIn. Adapt your communication based on where the prospect is in their buying journey and create a personalized experience that keeps them engaged.
- Opportunity Creation: Turn inbound interest into qualified meetings and opportunities for the sales team. Ensure each meeting is well-qualified and that the AE has the relevant context needed to have a productive conversation.
- Collaborative Partnership: Work closely with Account Executives to provide context on inbound leads, support meeting preparation, and help move qualified prospects through the sales process.
- Lead Nurturing: Stay engaged with prospects who aren't ready to meet immediately. Follow up thoughtfully, provide relevant information, and identify opportunities to re-engage leads as their needs evolve.
- Skill Enhancement: Participate in ongoing training and coaching sessions, embracing opportunities to strengthen your discovery, qualification, communication, and sales skills while continuously improving your performance.
- Hardworking, committed, and driven to grow and succeed
- Self-motivated and comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Clear and persuasive communicator, able to represent yourself and the company with confidence
- Strong relationship-builder who connects easily with new people
- Well-organized with excellent time management skills
