The Role: Due to our rapid and exciting growth, we are now looking to an exceptional Sales Development Representative (BDR).  The role is based in our fantastic office in Stevenage, Hertfordshire. 

What You'll Be Doing:  You will play a key role in outreaching across the UK Beauty/Salon, Fitness and Wellness communities to highlight the benefits from all that Vagaro’s award-winning software has to offer.  Your primary responsibility will be to identify, generate and nurture leads, working closely with the sales team to develop a robust pipeline of opportunities. Through strategic outreach and effective communication, you will engage with key decision-makers, educate them about Vagaro's solutions, and schedule qualified appointments for the sales specialists. 

Compensation Details: 

  • Base: £37,500 - £42,500 
  • Annual On Target Earning Potential: Up to £60.000 

Your Impact: 

  • Conduct thorough research to identify and qualify Mid-Market clients in the salon, spa, and fitness industry within your sales territory. 
  • Utilize various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, social media, field days, partner days and networking, to generate leads and initiate meaningful and powerful conversations with prospects. 
  • Schedule appointments and product demonstrations for our Sales Specialists, ensuring a smooth transition from lead generation to sales closure. 
  • Represent Vagaro at various trade shows & industry events.  Building your network, enhancing Vagaro’s reputation as you build leads, provide demonstrations and win new business. 
  • Develop a deep understanding of Vagaro's products, services, and value proposition and how win across a wide set of industry competitors. 
  • Conduct high-volume outreach to engage decision-makers, identify pain points, and assess their needs and business challenges. 
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to understand target accounts, coordinate outreach efforts, and strategies on the best approach for conversion. 
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of lead interactions and progress in Salesforce. 
  • Qualify leads based on predefined criteria, ensuring a strong fit with Vagaro's target customer profile. 
  • Continuously stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics to enhance prospecting strategies and knowledge of the target market. 
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of sales processes, messaging, and sales processes. 

What You Bring: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. 
  • Proven experience (2-years +) within a high activity sales-based role, ideally within SaaS / Technology sectors. 
  • Passion and understanding of the beauty, wellness, and fitness industry is significant plus. 
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with decision-makers. 
  • Demonstrated success in prospecting, lead generation, and appointment setting, meeting, and exceeding targets. 
  • Highly motivated self-starter with a proactive mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. 
  • Proficiency in using Salesforce and other sales productivity tools such as Outreach, Salesloft or Zoominfo. 
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes.
