About the Job Opportunity
The Business Development Representative (BDR) – Bio-Med & Imaging is a high-impact, early-career role designed for individuals who want to build a long-term career at the intersection of healthcare, technology, and AI-driven marketplaces. In this role, you’ll help fuel demand across PartsSource’s biomedical and imaging marketplace—connecting hospitals and healthcare providers to the parts, solutions, and expertise they need to keep critical equipment running.
You’ll work inside a modern, AI-enabled commercial organization, using tools like Salesforce, data insights, and automation to identify opportunities, qualify demand, and support revenue growth. More than a traditional BDR role, this position offers hands-on exposure to biomedical and imaging environments, OEMs, and healthcare workflows—building both commercial and technical fluency. Success is measured by pipeline quality, disciplined execution, and your ability to learn, adapt, and grow within a fast-paced, technology-forward team.

This role is intentionally structured as a career launchpad within PartsSource. BDRs gain deep exposure to the biomedical and imaging ecosystem while developing highly transferable skills in Salesforce, marketplace selling, data-driven decision-making, and AI-assisted workflows.

What You’ll Do
Marketplace Demand Generation & Prospecting
- Manage inbound inquiries related to biomedical and imaging parts, and solutions
- Execute structured outbound call and email campaigns to generate new demand
- Identify gaps in marketplace demand and proactively engage target accounts
- Generate qualified pipeline aligned to defined conversion and revenue metrics
Discovery, Qualification & Opportunity Development
- Conduct discovery conversations with Biomedical Engineers, Imaging Managers, and Clinical Engineering leaders
- Qualify opportunities using defined criteria and readiness signals
- Identify upsell, cross-sell, and expansion opportunities within existing accounts
- Align customer needs to PartsSource marketplace solutions and value propositions
Sales Process Execution & Collaboration
- Accurately log all activity, notes, and opportunities in Salesforce
- Partner closely with Account Executives to ensure high-quality opportunity handoffs
- Follow established SDR cadences, playbooks, and qualification standards
- Collaborate with Marketing on campaign follow-up and demand feedback
Learning & Continuous Improvement
- Build foundational knowledge of biomedical and imaging equipment, OEMs, and service models
- Participate in onboarding, coaching, and ongoing skill development
- Apply performance data and feedback to continuously improve conversion outcomes
What You’ll Bring
Your Background
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred
- 0–2 years of experience in sales, customer-facing, or commercial roles
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Comfort with phone-based conversations and outbound outreach
- Ability to work in a structured, metrics-driven environment
Technology & Platform Experience
- Working knowledge of CRM platforms such as Salesforce or similar systems
- Comfort navigating digital platforms, marketplaces, or SaaS tools
- Strong technical curiosity with the ability to learn new systems quickly
- Experience using productivity, automation, or AI-assisted tools (e.g., ChatGPT or similar AI platforms) to support research, messaging, or workflow efficiency
Preferred (Not Required)
- Exposure to B2B sales, healthcare, SaaS, or marketplace environments
- Interest in biomedical, imaging, or healthcare technology
- Coachability, curiosity, and desire for a long-term commercial career path
