OverviewThe Sales Development Representative (SDR) will support the LICORbio business unit. This position plays a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. The mission for the SDR is to make the first connection with prospective clients. They will focus on territory and pipeline development and will act as the ‘hunter’. The SDR will generate new business opportunities by developing and managing processes to prospect into accounts. You’ll learn how to identify and research lists of companies to target and will assist in the development and implementation of email and telephone campaigns to generate new business opportunities.
The typical profile of a successful SDR includes natural talents for Achievement, Competition, Focus, and Relationship Building, among other strengths. The SDR also needs to be strongly self-motivated, goal-oriented and methodical. Professional QualificationsEducationB.S., B.A., or equivalent in sales, marketing, sciences, or related field.
Experience- Dynamic telephone and email presence, familiarity with social media.
- Experience with Personal Computers: Basic experience with various operating systems (Windows, Macintosh), Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, SharePoint. SalesForce (CRM), LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or Outreach experience would be advantageous, but not essential.
- Results-driven, self-starter, persistent, highly motivated to keep moving forward despite rejection.
- Passion for finding and identifying those who “want to learn more”.
- Team player; enjoys and works well with others in a team environment.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills and interpersonal skills. Ability to prepare and give presentations in one-on-one settings, small groups and workshops.

- Inbound lead qualification by having a comprehensive understanding of LI-COR’s products to identify how our solutions can meet customers’ needs.
- Daily integration with SFDC, ZoomInfo, Xabni, LinkedIn and Outreach to ensure all prospects are properly managed.
- Develop, Manage, run and suggest improvements for Outreach sequences.
- Research, communicate and qualify all prospects converting them to the next stage of the sales funnel.
- Achieve monthly lead quota through proactive outbound phone calls, emails and other tactics.
- Efficiently move qualified inbound leads through the sales funnel.
- Find new potential sales outlets and markets to drive growth.
- Constantly create and tweak approach to inbound and outbound lead processes in order to affect business outcomes.
- Perform analytics from various platforms (Outreach, SFDC, etc.) to see where the teams could improve.
- Find ways to collect, centralize, synthesize and distribute information.
- Report on which team members are needing attention or specific coaching.
- Appointment-setting, travel and workshop activities for team as necessary.
- Develop and maintain adequate sales, marketing, product and technical knowledge to perform job function.
- Sedentary Work-Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally.
- Other job related duties as required.
